Congressional & Media Advocacy, Advocate : Works directly with lawmakers, journalists, and key organizations on important issues and to combat the rise of antisemitism, defend Israel’s position in the U.S., and educate the public about Zionism. Fighting Propaganda on the Front Lines
On the evening of October 7, 2023 in NYC, only 12 hours after Hamas launched its brutal attack in Israel, Ross Glick witnessed a chilling reality unfold in the streets of New York City. By that night and into October 8, large numbers of anti-Israel and anti-Zionist protesters flooded the streets—not mourning the innocent victims of Hamas’s massacre, but openly celebrating it.

The demonstrators, including both Arabs and non-Arabs, neighbors and fellow New Yorkers, showing no empathy for the Israeli civilians slaughtered at the Nova music festival, the children and families taken hostage, or the victims of Hamas’s atrocities. This was before Israel had even responded—before any airstrikes or ground operations. Yet, the streets of NYC were filled with chants glorifying Hamas’s actions, cheering the massacre, and pushing blatant anti-Israel propaganda. The 180-degree distortion of reality—the utter lies and misinformation—was staggering.

Ross, unwilling to stand by in silence, confronted many of these pro-Hamas "resistance" supporters in an effort to engage them in discussion and understand their perspective. Instead of dialogue, he was met with immediate hostility and threats of violence. On multiple occasions, the NYPD and the Capitol Police had to intervene, stepping in to provide protection as tensions escalated. This moment was a turning point—a trigger for action. The shock and disbelief of witnessing this wave of hatred firsthand, combined with the dangerous spread of anti-Israel propaganda, fueled Ross’s determination to push back, expose the lies, and defend the truth.

Reviving Betar
Ross was recruited by Betar, the historic Zionist movement, to help revitalize its strategy, leadership, and activism beyond counter-protests. From October 2024 to February 2025, he led a full-scale relaunch, dramatically increasing Betar’s visibility, media presence, and grassroots impact. Through strategic media and PR campaigns, viral content, and expanded leadership networks, Ross positioned Betar as a dominant force in the fight against antisemitism and anti-Zionism. His efforts gained widespread recognition on social media, on college campuses, and among Congressional leaders.
